Guidelines to follow to make your experience easier:
For Drivers:
- When filling out your departure & destination locations be sure to use the Google Autocomplete addresses that will pop up once you start typing! (City and address) It will give you better results!
- Be on time and arrive when you say you are going to arrive.
- Good communication with the Shypper and recipient is very important and will help to maintain a 5-star feedback rating.
- All packages must be secured and safely tied down, or secured in the trunk
- Drivers must thoroughly inspect everything in the box(es) whenever possible and take notes and pictures of any blemishes, scratches, broken parts, etc. prior to leaving the pick-up location.
- If the package is sealed or contains personal effects (Suitcase, Purse, etc) then you are not expected to inspect the contents but you are still expected to take pictures and take note of any damage to the outside of it.
- Take pictures of the package delivered at the destination if no one is home. We recommend pictures of the package sitting at the door, plus one of the front of the house.
- Although our system only allows for 2 photos to be uploaded, we encourage you to take more photos and save them for a few days. We recommend turning your geotagging feature on (most phones are set to on by default, so if you don’t know what we’re talking about, yours is probably on.)
- Shyppo drivers are encouraged to NOT accept any package they are not comfortable with hauling, regardless of what it actually is, size, etc. We do not want people transporting something they are not comfortable with, especially in a manner that is not 100% safe. If you have a legitimate reason for declining the shypment and are worried about your rating, don’t worry. Let us know and we’ll sort it out for you.
- Follow all local covid19 protocols, wear a mask, socially distance when possible, use hand sanitizer before and after pick up and drop off, and be safe!
