About Us

Who are we?

Shyppo Shipping Inc. is a small technology start up firm based out of Edmonton, Alberta. We are 100% Canadian owned. With roots in Supply Chain Management & Logistics, this concept has been a dream of ours for several years as our personal transportation network is incredibly under-utilized (how many of you reading this commute to work in an empty vehicle?)

Shyppo allows anyone willing to help do their part to improve our planet a little bit, and especially now with Covid19 and the threats to local and small businesses imposed by Covid19 challenges and huge online retailers, this helps give those small retailers a fighting chance to compete with the big online giants. It allows you to shop and buy local from the comfort and safety of your own home while still being able to receive your goods often on the same or next day like we’re all becoming accustomed to.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enable travellers and Shyppers to connect through technology and take advantage of the new gig economy to earn and save some money.

Vision

Our vision is to make our world a little greener by reducing the amount of dedicated delivery trucks on the road by utilizing existing couriers that are already travelling on your desired Shypping routes.

Benefits

For you as a Driver - Get paid to go somewhere you were headed anyways!

For you as a Shypper – Have your package picked up right from your doorstep! No driving to the post office, no waiting in line, no having to spend time packing up your shipment with costly packing supplies (i.e. bubble wrap, tape, boxes). It’s also cheaper and faster! Just post your shypment needs on the website and have someone come pick up and deliver your package.

For you as a Recipient – Delivered directly to your door! No having to drive to a depot sometimes located across the city if you’re not home when the delivery driver stops by, no waiting in line while at the depot, and no getting stuck with hidden fees that you have to pay. It’s also cheaper and faster!

For Society – Less big trucks on the road means less traffic congestion, less pollution, plus less landfill waste with little to no wasted packaging.
